Photographer's Note
A young monk meditating with candlelight at Buddha fullmoon night in famous Shwedagon pagoda, Yangon. There were two other monks accompanied with him surrounding the candlelights in meditation. It was a close shot and I asked them for permission without speaking.
Cropped left, curve, color adjust and sharpness.

Great photo! Amazing colours and light in your photo as well as sharpness. How did you manage with an 1/2 speed to achieve that? Did you use a tripod? No matter of course because your photo is perfect, the technicalities are secondary.

He seems more contemplative than meditative, but you caught the mood so nicely, a very relaxed, peaceful moment with just the candle flames flickering under a gentle draft. As we look at this shot, we feel the silence of this scene surrounding us as well. A touching image, that lingers on, Way Sai.
