Shwedagon from afar, a photo from Yangon, South

Photographer's Note

Shwedagon Pagoda view from the side of Royal Garden Restaurant near Karaweik ( floating restaurant in Kandawgyi lake ). The footbridge is connecting the lover island and the Karaweik. But that bridge is no longer exist, since the renovation started in 2004 and now finished. The Royal Garden restaurant is relocated to northwest of Shwedagon and they built a view point area in there and put water fountains just before the Karawake restaurant.

I found this view point accidently while eating out with my friends in Royal Garden. So, I have to come back twice to take the photos.

Auto level, adjust colors and little sharpness.

Beautiful night shot.Reflection add to beauty.Shwedagon has been captured by almost all visitors from TE to Yangon but I like this the best.Good work.My complements.

A wonderful reflection effect (see the theme) even is the pagoda is maybe too in the middle...

good morning Way, a nice shot with clear reflections, but what I really like having just returned from Burma and my last stay was in the Kandawgyi hotel, this could have the view from my room. Thansk for the memory.
