Photographer's Note

Sometimes, we experience goodness of heart in our travels, from strangers and new friends, and sometimes, we just feel it, from a fleeting meeting, a simple gaze.
I was coming down the long stairway of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, and at the bottom, near the street, this lone elder monk was resting.
unlike other monks, more jaded or bashful of peeking tourists, without too much of a move on my part (but camera around the neck), he nodded to my taking a shot of him as i was walking towards him.
