Photographer's Note
These are the devoted pilgrims to famous Maw Tin Swun Pagoda festival which held yearly in summer time around March. The pagoda is located in Pathein town near the ocean, 150 miles from Rangoon.
I saw these pilgrims going toward the pagoda when I was taking a rest with a cold drink. I thought this was interesting and took a few shots.
Did crop top and bottom, level, saturation, contract and sharpness.

Nice, very nice. I like the panoramic crop which artistically emphasizes the long string of people all heading in the same direction.
I also like the way the picture is divided top to bottom in thirds - a pleasing balance. And its also good that the heads of the pilgrims are all below the line of the horizon.

Wow, the panoramic shot is really a must in this composition. The way they're walking in this beach landscape, but completely dressed up, makes a nice and bizarre contrast. Excelent shot.

Very good composition. This illustrates perfectly well the idea of pilgrims. The people are well outlined by the blue background of the sea and the 1/3 sky, 1/3 see, 1/3 sand partition is participating to the graphic interest of your picture.

Yep, worth taking. I think, for the composition, I would like to see more space in front of them, empty space, so it gives the impressionb of movement into something. Also, to get the panoramic look, you could take about thre normal frames (I mean 35mm frames) and then stitch them together in Photoshop - the stitch program really works, the results look great.

As far as I know this is the first time I have visited your page. I was overwhelmingly amazed at all the beautiful, professionally looking photographs. I keep coming back to this one. This is excellent!

good parnorama scene with interesting subjects in it. One thing i like most here is that u r at the right angle, the background of the people is only blue ocean. But u could leave some more space infront of the queue to give more movement feeling. It is a wonderful picture for overall.

Great idea to go panoramic, what a great mix of people, I found myself looking at each one closely, and yet find overall a great balance of tones, that your frame in no way infringes upon, but nicely underlines. Great feeling, anyone having been to Burma will feel its heart pinch at their sight.
