Everyday, some women from the tibetan diaspora buy food for the birds, at sunrise. This is their first gift of the day. That's why, if you come early in the morning in Bodnath, you will find the stupa crowded with birds (see workshop).

nice photo Michel, well composed - i like this row of pigeos at the top and the one flying behind the woman. nice moment with this flying grain. one small flaw is the bottom of the frame - a bit messy and some pigeons are very cropped, some space at the would balance the compo. and colors are a bit grayish. anyway, it is a nice photo
i have tried a workshop here, very small changes, sharpness and contrast adjustments mostly

Ca fait plaisir de voir un nouveau post de ta production.
Une image graphique et bien composée ,mais ce que j’aime particulièrement dans cette photo ,c’est cet axe magique que forme le bras et qui arrête dans l’espace les grains que la femme jette ainsi que le pigeon .
Bravo.

We haven't seen a new image from you in a while Michel, glad to see you uploading again, hope to see more.

This one is a winner, there is always something special about old person feeding birds, these type of images have a special feeling. The composition is very nice, with top nicely framed, bird flying on the left, and her arm extended into the picture. I agree with Maciek that the bottom is a bit weaker, but still superb image regardless.

I have the same reservations that Maciek notes about the bottom of the frame. I don't know how much you had to work with here, but I would trade a narrower composition that added enough space at the bottom to capture those three pigeons at the bottom center. I appreciate, however, that there are often constraints of which you are aware that dictated your choices.

Having said that, I really love this image, especially as captured with the grain in the air and the pigeon approaching in the air. I like the muted palette as well. Maciek's workshop added a bit of vibrancy to the scene, but I welcome your contribution Michel. Thank you for sharing.

très belle image, j'aime le mouvement grâce à la position de sa main et les graines en l'air et le pigeon qui arrive derrière, il ne veut rien manquer du festin.
C'est très bien cadré , cette image évoque un peu la solitude des personnes âgées.

Great composition, great photo,, the frozen pigeon in the air makes this image very special imho.. i wish there was only one pigeon on the floor in the right side of the photo..

i love the colours here too..

Very ver nice. The persions at the bottom are a bit unnecessary. The flying pigeon is the star of this shot. Maybe crop it tighter at the bottom or clone the bottom pigeons. Other than that, it is a VERY good picture.

Tu postes peu, c'est dommage, mais de petits bijoux à chaque fois, pleins d'humanité et de respect, et comme ça on peut prendre le temps de les découvrir!
J'ai aussi les mêmes réserves sur les pigeons coupés en bas de l'image, mais sinon j'apprécie beaucoup cette photo, le geste tranquille, l'instant figé, les teintes douces. Je suis surprise (je ne devrais pas...) de voir comme ce geste de nourrir les oiseaux est aussi universel! Je trouve ça très émouvant...

Voilà une photo qui gagne beaucoup avec les pigeons, en particulier celui qui imite le mouvement de la main. Il faut avoir beaucoup de patience ( Et de chance peut-être ) pour en arriver là.. Toutefois j'aurais aimé un peu plus d'espace dans le bas et quelque chose d'autre sur le mur blanc pour balancer
le personnage.

What a very pleasant and friendly picture this is, Michel. You pressed the shutter on a very nice moment, the grain exactly leaving her hand on the way to the pigeons. They seem to take good care of the living creatures here, it's is nice to see your workshop. Lovely lady!

Hello Michel,
tu ne poste pas souvent, mes tes compos sont d'une grande qualite. Comme ici, tu as su attendre le bon moment pour declencher, la ligne forme par les pigeons au dessus de sa tete est geniale. Une superbe scene a la limite du moment decisif.
