Khumbu Valley during the monsoon, a photo from Sagarmatha, East

Photographer's Note

During the monsoon season not many trekkers in Khumbu Valley.
In the low right my porters with the meat for the Italian Pyramyd in Lobuche.
On the left of the house, over the stack of wood, two kids.
The smoke on the roof of the house is coming from the inside for cooking.
They dont't know the use of the chimney and this is cause of many diseases.

Superb composition, the house almost loos like a face of a person, the presence of two kids adds depth to the picture. love the green!

i love the light, that´s a strong atmosphere and also that the two porters are giving a lot to the shot really well seen!

It's the dark bluish green colour that really catches my attention here, wonderful.
And the composition is nice too with the pale house and the porters backpacks almost glowing in the dark surroundings. Maybe a little crop from the left side would balance the image better, but that is just a small detail.

The green is SO vivid against the darkness. Good composition as well, it needs the 2 porters in it.
It must be such a relief when all the trekkers leave.

Very good picture, I like the light and the contrast!!!
There are lot of green, that makes this picture so special.
It’s almost like a painting.
