Photographer's Note

I went to Kelash this year after covering the Shandoor Polo Festival. Kelash is a historical place where it is said that the injured military men of Alexander the great took refuge while the remaining army went on for their destinations. The children of these military men gave rise to a new civilization. Kelashi people are different from any of the other people in the country, their religion, living style, everything is totally different. Here I saw this old man sitting with grief near the historical graveyard.

A wonderful portrait of the old man. His expression is of grief and you've captured it very well.
