This is a typical morning scene in Bantayan Island where fishermen coming home from night fishing has to carry their boats back closer to shore. Sometimes it is a lot of work for little catch.

Hello Renier,

A special shot with good lighting circumstances. I enjoy the main subject and the stance of the people passing by. I very much like the middle slice of land intersecting the two sections of water. There might be just a bit too much sky for my liking, but I can see why you included it. A nice full body image, clear and crisp. Thanks for sharing it with us all.

As you said, it is a lot of work, even for a good catch! At the same time, they offer you a good photo opportunity. The blue colour of the water is magnificent and the low light created a beautiful atmosphere. Well done.

Impressive timing, both the warm light and the shutter. I like how the length of the boat fills the frame. Normally, I favor cropping skies that occupy half the frame but here I like it just fine as it relays a sense of vastness. Regards,

This is an excellent complementary image to your earlier posting about the fishermen. It looks like the last rays of the sun are casting their magical glow on the scene. It is a hard life.

Very nice scene. A very nice repetition of horizontal lines thorugh the horizon, ths shore and the boat. Very nice blue colored tones.
I think that maybe there is just a bit too much sky. Maybe you should try cropping a bit off.

The shot looks perfect to me, Renier. the only thing that I would have done differently is probably putting the boat and the fishermen a little bit off center - to the left ...
But that is probably personal and would not make a huge difference on the overall impact of this nice shot.
