Broadwalk, a photo from Cebu, Central Visayas

Photographer's Note

This was taken in Cordova, a small town at the southern tip of Mactan Island. At the end of the broadwalk is where local boats arriving from neighbouring islands dock. Surprisingly, the area still has a big mangrove population. Neighbouring islands include Olango Island which is a protected bird sanctuary.

Hello Renier. Only this bridge, water and something forest in the background. The bridge seems to run in the infinite. But it actually expects the boats occasionally putting on of the neighbour island. The geometrical forms of the bridge and the emptiness of this landscape constitute the attraction of this documentary photo. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Renier,
Cordova seems to be a universal name for towns. There is even one is Alaska. A well-composed image of the boardwalk with tremendous depth and minimal sky. Having a local walking on it would perhaps be a welcome cliche. Regards,

A simple and common photo but that still works with a nice view of the islands on the background. Maybe a more pretty day, with more blue sky and some clouds using a very slow speed with a ND filter could gave some diferent ascpect to it, why not try?

You chose a very good angle for the at most perspective.
These pier lead us very depth to the water, this care for depth in this lovely image.
