Photographer's Note

Sunrise scene in Bantayan Island, Cebu during low tide. This was taken from one of the island's top resort. The beachfront hut partially shown in the far left is where we stayed. Accommodation rates in the island is very competitive ... I paid around USD40/day for an airconditioned cottage with own toilet, shower, and private veranda. Quite romantic on a full moon because the sea is just a few meters from the hut during high tide.

Peaceful and romantic. Seems like you should have taken a few steps back to include the umbrella on the right. A lower pov would also work better perhaps so that we could see more of the horizon and less of the sky. Good one regardless. Cheers,

This is a typical paradise view I guess:))
I love the perspective and the "jagged" shore. Also the soft, natural colors give the pleasant feeling.

This is a beautiful sunset, I cam almost feel the warm breeze on my face. The silhouettes and the sun rays are perfect. The use of the stream from the corner leads the viewers eye into the image. Well done.

Le coucher de soleil et ses couleurs sont très belles dans cette image ! je trouve dommage que le parasol de droite soit coupé ! Il casse un peu la composition !

I agree the cost of the accomodation is worth it.. I like that how the well positioned hut is blocking perfectly the direct sun, and the path is almost lighting on the beach. It is a "must visit that place" photo...

the POV is great. it is informative of the island as well. but more than that, it is sort of a persuasive photo . If one with adequate financial resources had to make a selection among possibilities , after seeing this photo , the decision would be more influenced. that s how I can define my admiration for this lovely place.

Yes I do miss the Philippines but was told by my doctors that I can't travel for the next 6 to 8 months. I posted a similar shot and titled it almost similarly.
