Photographer's Note

This is shot on one of the few islands I would genuinely state as the last paradise on earth. it is called Malapascua, one hour bangka (local boat) ride off Northern Cebu.

Malapascua beaches have nothing to envy touristy Boracay, but the big plus is that there are few lodges and NO cars. The official transportation is biking.

You can cross the inside island walking through sand path and meet someone, as this boy going to school, that will smile and talk with you. The filipino philosophy of living is enjoy and take a good laugh whenever possible. That's a smooth and easy living in the Phils, the most latino country in Asia, no wonder why so many europeans try to settle in the country.

Unfortunately, the Phils have been a target for hostage kidnapping in the recent years, therefore devastating the tourism industry.
It's time to come back to the Phils and to support the most attaching people in Asia, it won't take more than 3 days before you become part of a family.
BTW, if you look carefully at this image, there's a sign saying that this corn field is for sale : "contact Boy Pascobello", I let you write down his phone number, if ever...

Edited after your Qs :
Sort of, Cedar, it's Forte Chlorobromide print paper with a selenium toning, hence the warm tones.
Exactly Fil, he ducked to escape from the shot, but 28 mm lens did the job. see how those paths are narrow, I was leaning against a fence, couldn't go back more, had to choose either cut the wheel or no sky...
