Lake on Crater, a photo from Batangas, Southern Tagalog

Photographer's Note

This is crater of the famous Taal Volcano (which is still active). The volcano is located on a lake, thus, the lake inside the crater is a "lake within a lake".

Going here took about an hour hike on foot. I took this shot on top of the volcano using the Vivitar point & shoot camera.

Very beautiful place. Colors seems to be a bit unnatural and with to much contrast. Pity you crop out the top of mountain, Bush in foreground is overexposed and photo could be sharper. Pity, cos this could be a very beautiful photo.

I haven't been to this crater yet but considering it is still active, it must have been an exciting experience. Looking at the view, it was worth the trip. The image has bit of noise but you've nicely composed this. Well done! tfs
