Photographer's Note
I took this photo while visiting the Kremlin in Moscow. The weather was typically Russian - very patchy, and I was caught in quite a downpour. The atmosphere was terrific with the most awesome cloud formations and a sombre dull day. Yet the buildings standing out in such majesty. I tried to get a photo but if I got the clouds looking right, the buildings were very dull as they are here. On the other hand if I exposed the buildings correctly my clouds became washed out. Back home I did some playing around with photoshop and came up with what I think is quite an impressive look. Rather than put up the photoshopped image though, I have uploaded the original to see if anyone can bring life to this sad little photo. Have a go, you may be startled by the impression. But keep those clouds!

The picture is too dark, even in the clouds, but I like the sky and the churches are interesting. I tried a WS. Don

Hi Paul,
You have a nice compo here but i guess the picture is sort of dull in terms of brihtness and colours. I couldnt resist doing a WS as you might have guessed. Do tell me what you think of it.

Regardless of what you write I think this is a very cool photo. I like clouds and this sky is great. The photo is dark and I'm not too certain I like the partial building on the right but that's the only big flaw. The golden dpmes bring enough brightness to the photo. The feeling it transmits is of a heacy non bright day but it also shows that special almost shimery appeerance object have ion those days.
All the people give the viewer the oppotunity to imagine the size of these majestic buildings.
