Photographer's Note

The Kremlin, Russian presidentís official residence. Not too bad for working place, at least you well enough protected from annoying political opponents by fortress walls. In spite of the Kremlin is heart of Russia, the Kremlin walls were designed and erected by Italian masters in 1485-1495. In the foreground of the photo is the Ivan the Terrible Bell Tower. Three years ago, when I was on an excursion in the Kremlin, a guide told us that when Ivan the Terrible was a young he liked to throw cats down from the top of the Tower, a kind of tsar entertainment.
