Neva river, a photo from Saint Petersburg, Northwest

This picture I have made with my first old camera. I went to the quay of Neva river one hour before all bridges a start to go up. In july there are a very lightly nights.
But I did not be sure until I came back to my home, in Moscow, that this picture I captured rightly.

Alex,
This is a very effective night shot, with the lamps all appearing with the similar star patterns, the reflections of the light on th side walk gleaming beautifully. Clearly, it is a time exposure, with the taillights seen as streams of red light. In the distance across the river is that the Hermitage and St. Isaac's Cathedral? Regards from Virginia, USA Bulent

Great time of night to capture this lovely blue sky. I like how we can see those beautiful buildings across the water. The long exposure is also interesting.

Hi Alex,
this is wonderful night shot, those night lights are so star like. And those red lights on street are very nice. Only thing that maybe is out of that pix is that half of McDonalds sign, maybe you should have cropped it out.

it caught my attention.that glow lights came from the very good operation .superb shot.but i don't like the mcdonald sign.it should to be croped.anyway it's nice photo from you.
