Photographer's Note
A row of colorful old stairs in the Bugis district of Singapore. Before the days of the fire sprinklers, all buildings here used to have these fire escape stairs. They are no longer required today and these are just a few of the remaining fire escape stairs in the country. A reminder of the country's colorful past.

Excellent John,
tant les couleurs que les courbes, que les lumières, le cadrage. Un peu look DNA, la succession des couleurs pastels est le point fort de la photo tout comme ces sinusoïdes.
Have a great sunday.
Daniel.

Hi John,
Nice compo! The handrails and steps form such a nice pattern! The colors are also eye-catching.

John this is excellent. The repetive pattern through the frame, the colours, and cleverly just enough background so the viewer knows what they are looking at. The use of the subtle tilt is refreshing in this case.
Bravo

Hi John, I think these famous stairs before in the portfolio of Steely. I like the close crop and the tilt here, it makes this set of multi-coloured spirals even more interesting. Very good!
Have a fine weekend,
Bert

Fabulous pattern and repetition. I like the way you've angled the shot to make the most of the geometry. Well done!
