Floating markets where local vendors sell their products were once a lifestyle in some parts of Thailand. Today these colorful markets mostly serve as tourist attractions wehere all kind of fruits, handicrafts and refreshments are sold in long vessels with colorful tents, causing "traffic jam". The floating market of the village of Damnoen Saduak is the most visited of these markets.
