Damnoen Saduak - some people claim it is maintained only for tourists, saying that the real market is situated in a different place, others believe in its tradition. Nevertheless, it is one of the most colourful and unusual places I saw during our trip in Thailand. We came there in the morning to avoid crowds of tourists that fill the market around noon hours. We hired a boat and spent almost two hours admiring the market. I loved the fruit and vegetable part the most as it was very lively, colourful and exotic to me :) This photo was taken from a bridge hung above the channels... I hope you like it :)

I visited that this colourful market some years ago and your image brings back vivid memories. Here you have captured a typical scene with great visual impact. The composition is excellent, almost filling the frame with the distinctive boats and the colourful fruits, and the large hats of the women are so typically characteristic.

Nice composition here. The women selling fruits on the boats are a very attractive subject. I like the mix of colours created by the different fruits in the boats.

a very clear and sharp capture wit a great POV to see all the colored vegetables that are selling in their nice boats, the 2 hats in front are a pleasant detail and replied with the hat above, very nice composed and tight on subject with a lot of details, excellent !

definitely the tropical fruits are one of the attractions in SE Asia and you've captured them so nicely in your composition with the floating boats, from that lovely angle
