Sumptous in its richness, this picture just shouts out to be looked at.The silhouetted figures standing around posess such great character that it is possible to see the fellowship of the monks. Their relaxation in such a daily task as this.

Beautifully represented and technically executed.

I love your play with the light here. Very effective and beautiful. The silhoettes are great!

Maybe the most beautifull picture I have seen on TE so far, and it's been a month all ready, and my eye has learned a lot. It is a masterpiece, Bennett, I mean it!

Dramatic composition, I love that translucent orange color and how it strikes over the bluish hazy cast.

If I were to be picky (and I actually am) I would point the lefter branch overlapping one of the novices head, it's the only minor flaw my picki-o-meter can spot here.

Hi! Bennett,
This is a great Example of form. Again, my favourite type of lighting, but very difficult to control. You have captured a great moment. I concur with LUKO but if you are to be picky and I am, then the twig is also out of character. There is a lot to be said about thumbnails........ I suppose the best way with this situation is multiple shots. The eye cannot see everything. Thanks for sharing this great moment.
