Thai fishing boats in an azure sea by a palm fringed beach (Ko Phi Phi). This is where the movie "The Beach" was filmed. Polarized. Fuji 100 iso film.

Very relaxing and inviting photo! It's a good scan (my scanner is not this good), although the colors are a bit too strong IMO. After seeing your photo, it's time for a holiday...

Idylic looking location, but a maybe a bit dangerous at the moment :-( Good PoV, but the colours look a bit wrong to me today, rather too blue. Or that just how it was?

As I understand, the colours are quite natural and the way they are, make the place look weird and so much exotic, Chris! I think I can recognize these palm trees from the movie scenes...;-) I like how you included the boats and the buildings on the beach, as they bring a lot of life here.

I love it because of its marvelous colours. Wonderful feeling of holidays. Almost an invitation. Maybe I would either have lighten overall tones a bit or given less contrast. Excellent catch anyway.

A shot with highly color values,very beautiful,I like the warm colors in bouts in those cold colors,there is a nice contrast between those.
great element here ,I think,is a very good composition.

Somehow, the torqouise tone is a bit disturbing but setting that aside, this is a well-composed shot with the boats all on the right of the frame.

The hard contrast make it look like a painting, which is beautiful IMO. It casts a loss of details though..

Pleasant harbour scene. Partial boat on left side should be cropped out for better compo. Use of polarizer good idea. Still a bit overexposed. Try darkening it.
