Panyi Fishing Village is home to about 120 Muslim families. The houses are built on stilts above the water and islanders sell fish sauce, dried prawns, shrimp paste as well as the usual tourist goods. There is also a large fish restaurant which is very popular.

I like that view of this fishing village, good POV from the water to the edge of the sea, full of vertical trunks where the houses rest. A very different way of life from here.
