Photographer's Note

This photo is taken in Phuket, Patong. Although Phuket is a crowded, very touristic island, it,s worth the visit because it has beautiful beaches, and if you have the time to search a little, you may even find one with not to many tourists. Patong is the nightlife capital of the island and unfortunately the capital of sex tourism. Thousands of young women are gathered in the streets with the bars and nightclubs, looking for an invitation to a drink, a dinner or ...whatever. By the way, I think that we should not judge the behaviour of Thai people with our own "western" measures, because their mentality, religion and views about life are totally different. If we have to critisize someone that's all the western tourists that po there looking for "sexual healing". At least, after some new very strict laws by the government and the King, it seems that the phenopenon of pedofilia is going to disapear

this is a very interesting picture! i love the vivid and bold colors that was like painted into the canvas. i wonder what shutter speed/aperture setting did you use?

Πολλή όμορφη φωτογραφία από αυτό τον εξωτικό προορισμό. Τα χρώματα είναι όμορφα και απαλά και ο φωτισμός δημιουργεί εξαιρετική ατμόσφαιρα. Λίγο τα δέντρα που είναι μες τη μέση της σκηνής μου τα χαλάνε κάπως.

Hi Hercules,
Spectacular sunset. The composition is simple but perfect. The frame of the palms with the bottom colours orange creates a relaxed scene. In the month of May I will also visit Thailand and Phuket, thanks for this beautiful advance.
