Photographer's Note

This is the "Floating Market" at Duamnuensaduak that is about 70 miles west of Bangkok. "Floating" means that all the stall-holders sell their wares to customners who arrive in their boats. The surrounding area is interlaced with canals amongst the rice paddies and salt fileds, and many of the ordinary houses are along these waterways so travelling to the local shop was by boat.
The Floating Market is a hugely popular tourist trip from Bangkok so it is quite difficult to get a photograph without including a boatload of tourists like myself.
