Saigon Temple scene, a photo from Dong Nai, South East

Photographer's Note

Taken in Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City) in 2011 whilst on a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia----little temples dotted amongst shops and homes made for photographs around every corner. The peace and tranquility and the deep smell of incence, instantly calmed one as we wondered the hectic city streets---beautiful photographs---happy people, just a beautiful country----loved it---Lynne--I apologise that I may have the State/Province wrong---

Hello Kelman,
A really nice picture. The red pillars keep the composition well together and the man lighting incense sticks makes a good foreground. The smoke fills most of the background space where it creates an interesting atmosphere and almost hide the praying woman. You handled the light well and the colours are fine.

Belle ambiance avec cette fumée pour cette image parfaitement composée.Une très belle complémentarité de couleurs dans cette réalisation.Le personnage est très bien cadré.

You handled the difficult light well and managed a great shot.
You catched him in a good moment and psition and I like the blueish smoke from the incense sticks.

Nice foggy atmosphere in the background, and although a bit saturated a good contrast with the reds.

I might have tried to have a slightly larger crop from the bottom.
