I like the theme a lot.

With some changes, the composition might focus better on your models, IMHO. For instance, cropping from each side except the righthand could emphasize -as given in the workshop- the two main characters without the disturbance of the left-side people and the bright sun rays.

Bonjour Etienne,

The brilliant sunlight filtering through the dusty air appears to have created streaks of compelling light. I like this composition very much, especially with the characteristic coolie hats.

Really beautiful atmosphera and light.
Interesting subject, well composed.
I tried to do a WS to see it a little sharper and to see smoke in a better way, if possible

Hi Etienne,
Incredible light, it illumnates the scene, but mostly, it adds to the feeling, a tradional style theme and shot. It is beautifully captured.

Beautiful light and excellent composition. We can almost see all the faces as hats which gives a hint of mystery in this smoky atmosphere.

Le rayon de lumière est extra et les chapeaux de paille coniques cachant les faces indiquent le lieu de la photo. J'aurais enlevé une petite partie à gauche pour mieux se focaliser sur le sujet (voir WS)
