Photographer's Note

The old town of Hoi An is a world heritage site with many old buildings and narrow streets. On almost all the houses and restuarants there are lanterns hanging and plenty of shops with them for sale. At night the lanterns are lit up and the streets are transformed into beautiful colour.

Hi Wanda,
It's nice to see this posting of Hoi An and the ones Furachan is posting, a complete different world but both from the same location.
The dog is really the eye catcher here in combination with all these very colourful lantarns...very nice.

I have a very similar shot. same shop front but different dog ! taken about one month earlier......!
i will post it soon.
i think yours works better because of the lighting coming from the lanterns. mine was mid-day.
