Picture taken on the beach right beside Manuel Antonio park. The beaches inside the park are generally prettier but the park closes before dark so one has to settle for sunsets at the nearby beaches.

Privet Anna,
I like the composition of your photo - you managed to get almost a full frame around your point of interest, adding extra emphasis to the center area. The sunset looks very beautiful and the reproduction of colors is perfect!

Hello Anna,

This is an amazing sunset photograph..I am a fan of sunsets and this one is really good with the silhouette of people..the leaves of the trees very very well placed in the frame and the tone u have achieved here is really very good..!!I also liked the island in the distance which is giving a very good depth perspective to the shot..!!

Hi Anna,

Nice to use the tree as the side of your composition. Works well for me. I like to put a sunset always on the extreme left or right of my composition, so I have to get used to the feel of it being rather centered - though it's not at all in the middle. The same accounts for your horizon, feeling quite centered. But sometimes you have to make choices. And you did, otherwise choosing a good composition here! Creating a nice depth, good representation of the colours in the sky and the sun itself not too blown out and not too dark either. Nicely balanced. I like it!

Hi Anna, I really like this picture, the tropical sunset on the pacific ocean are great and you make a excelent job capturing this sunset.
The palm leaves give a special framing adn the shades are great.
