The glue that holds all of Cuban society together is the bond of the family. From Fidel and Raul to the farmer and his family, the sense of tightness between kin and friends is evident in all aspects of Cuba.

Sitting in a small house on the outskirts of Santiago de Cuba, this family of seven gathers in a cramped living room. There is a air of celebration in the air despite having no particular holiday to celebrate. Most brothers, sisters, and parents all live in the same city or village. Such a sight is only visible in the west during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

A very well captured family scene.
This is real life: so many people on such a small area. You can see and almost feel the happyness of this family. What more do we need?
