Photographer's Note
One of the many revolutionary murals that one can find while walking around the city. This one, in particular, in an elementary school in Old Havana. I was struck by the gesture of the drawing, which ends up looking like graffiti, far from any direct relation to what is meant. I try to think that the author didn't want to sacralise or disarrange a symbol, but something simpler: he's an art lover who did it out of good will, but... The lady's face says it all.
