Photographer's Note

This statue is in Havana's City Museum, created in the early 1630s by Cuban sculptor Jerónimo Martín Pinzónend and was erected at the highest point of the Royal Force Castle as a weather vane. A strong hurricane in 1926 partly damaged it and subsequently was brought down and replaced with a replica. The sculpture is named after a sculpture on the bell tower of Cathedral of Seville, and become the symbol of Havana
A picture in the Workshop show the replica sculpture on the watchtower of the Royal Force Castle.
