COCHE ANTIQUO -2-, a photo from La Habana, West

Photographer's Note

The interest for the first automobile was such that the second one, also imported from France, started to circulate in Havana in 1899 with the difference that its motor, more powerful could reach a speed of about 30 kms/h.
In just a few years, tens of cars, mainly coming from the United States, started to circulate in other locations of the country.

This DODGE is waiting for the restauring works and mechanical repair in front of one of the beautifull churches of Havana.

Great shot--nice intense color as well--and eposure is spot on. I would remove the clothes on the top right but im just nit-picking--well done!

Yeah, that's a nice picture. You could see its from Cuba by just looking at the thumbnail. The DOV is nice. Everything in focus! Not easy to do. The wide angle includes beautiful fore- and background! The lighting also looks great. This is just the way I like it!

Incrível como se consegue deixar todos esses antigos carros a funcionar. É muito comum se ver carros enguiçados na rua? Cuba deve ser um paraíso para colecionadores de automóveis. A sua foto, com a igreja por detrás, ficou muito boa.

Hi Rui - great combination of "relics", the 12mm was used to full effect here, I like how both the near and far objects are in sharp focus, and all 3 subjects have a dilapitated charm and need fresh paint.

Hello Rui,
j'aime beaucoup l'effet grand angle ici. Les couleurs et les lumières sont finement capturées et rendues.
Seul petit point noir, le cadrage que j'aurais fait plus à gauche, tu perds une partie de la voiture bleue et des éléments incomplets apparaissent sur le bord droit.
