Retrofitted beautiful old buildings and churches, plazas are some of the fantastic works one has to enjoy not to speak of the great live music. I would recommend staying in "Habana Vieja"; you're close to so much, and you really get to see the vibrant atmosphere and sense of community Havana has to offer.

Those stylish white buildings are beautifully set off by the clouds creating a very fresh and light mood. And there's a funny looking yellow putt-putt behind the bus:))

Olá Rui,

bela praça esta em Havana con uma mistura curiosa de arquitectura mais tradicional com arquitectura moderna.
Tens aqui um bela enquadramento, e uma luz filtrada que cria uma atmosfera interessante, bem diferente das que habitualmente vemos nestas paragens, com luz intensa.

Talvez estivesse tentado a cortar esta linha horizontal na frente da foto (até aos passeios) para ter as pessoas mais próximas e assim um FG mais preenchido.

Je constate qu'il se dépense un peu d'argent pour rénover quelques beaux bâtiments de La Havane. Elle en a bien besoin. Une belle diagonale de bâtiments qui donne une belle profondeur à l'image.

I chose this photo because i enjoy seeing the streets of Cuba...something we don't see alot of.
when i look closely, i can see many old cars.
beautiful architecture, and the sky couldn't have been better for you.

I want to travel in Cuba and enjoy such images. I like this particular architecture from buildings. The atmosphere has a mystery. Excellent details and the sky is marvelous.

Hi Rui,

One of my favourite cities here and a nice shot (the more modern cars area a little weird for me, last time I was in Cuba was in 2001 - still not a lot of modern transport in those days). Is the building on the left still the Revolutionary Museum?
