Vinales Valley..Cuba
A recent addition to the Unesco World Heritage list, the town of Vinales and the valley in which it is set in Cuba's 'green' Pinar del Rio province, is characterised by its impressive round-topped hills, or mogotes. These date back to the Jurassic period and are covered with rich and varied vegetation, and are remnants of the plateau that was eroded by a network of underground rivers millions of years ago.

Hi Geof,
yesterday I post a similar photo from the Viņales Valley, like this one, but of the summer season, really very different from this one, almost in winter! Brown changes in Green, in one moment!
You did a nice composition including the tree branch in the top of the photo, it helps to fill the empty white sky. Well done.
Best regards
Jaume

Hi Geoff.
Great landscape. Lots of interest and lots of differing textures. Good use of the overhanging branch to frame the shot. Interesting note to. TFS
