Ich ging in Varadero den Strand entlang, mit meiner alten Kammera.
Varadero ist ein Sondergebiet (Territorio especial) an der Nordküste Kubas auf der Halbinsel Hicacos, gut 120 Kilometer östlich von Havanna. Es gehört verwaltungsrechtlich zum Municipio Cárdenas in der Provinz Matanzas. Hier befindet sich auch der zu den USA nächstgelegene Punkt der Hauptinsel.

Varadero is a resort town in the province of Matanzas, Cuba, and one of the largest resort areas in the Caribbean.

Très bon titre !
Je suppose que cette voiture qui remonte aux années 50 fonctionne encore.
J'aime cette posture face à la mer.
En fait, une très bonne prise de vue.

Hello Wolfgang,

This is like a scene from some old, romantic movie, where the star characters find themselves on the beach, gazing out to sea, watching the sun set.
In this case, the old car is the star and, because of the situation, seems to take on a human character, gazing wistfully out to sea, remembering days when he was loved and cared for!
It is a very unusual photograph but one that creates enormous speculation.
I like it!

This is a well thought out photo. The low light and composition suggest the end of an era which seems to be appropriate at this time. Hopefully I will be allowed to travel to Cuba before all of these great old cars are gone.

This is the distinctive behaviour of an abandoned old car, very sad and disouraged with life, to the point of committing suicide by drowning!

I do remember this car in your first edition. This is better, 'cause it has got bigger size and good management. This scene reminds me a place for the love couples. What could be more romantic than to stay on the ocean's coast for it?

I would have liked to see more of the colours and textures of the old car, but I realize that the angle and quality of the light created this dark impression that's quite moody and part of the story. I like your composition very much, it's well balanced and gives to the car and the situation a special charatcter. A lovely scene that feels like a visual metaphor. Congratulations and thank you!
