Havana, Cuba

Cuba is something different. A unique place in the world where you will not see any Coca-Cola signs or McDonald's restaurants.

Havana only gets better!

Everywhere you look, you see wear down, spanish architecture buildings that would really benefit from a little restoring!

The cars in Havana create a striking ambiance. The Cubans, unless the car is required for their work, are only allowed to purchase cars that were in Cuba before the revolution in the 50's. Combined to the fact that the climate is ideal to keep a car in good shape, the whole city is populated with those relics from the past.

Here in the background, you see the forteress that was built to fight the pirates! Tells you how old this North American city is...

This picture was taken with a small automatic camera and then scanned. It's funny but I really like the old look that the poor quality of the camera gave...
