Church & Guesthouse, a photo from Tyrol, West

Photographer's Note

A church and a guest house in the village of Igls. Igls lies at the foot of the Patscherkofel mountain which offer a commanding view of the Innsbruck valley and the surrounding mountain ranges including those of Germany in the north. A charming little village that offers a variety of sporting activities to visitors: skiing in winter, mountain biking & hiking in summer. Photo was taken after I came down from the mountain. The weather was bad in the mountain but in the valley it was very windy with occasional sun.

Sometimes it is light condition such as this, which really gives a nice saturated look to the exposed shot with your setting, producing a balanced color tone and saturation which pleases the eye. Throw in a good composition and you have a nice view of the church taller than the rest but all making it a colorful mix.

Hi,
this is one of the best pictures ever. It is perfectly balanced. In the thumbnails it seemed to me a painting for the pastel colors. Very well captured.

Hello Latiff ,
A very good composition . The light and the colors are great . The sky , too . We can feel the windy weather in the tree leaves and the woman waiting for the bus in the right . Very nice .

Your composition is great using the road to lead the eye to the church. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The sky in great and forms a nice backdrop for the shot.

I am glad you have presented a typical Tyrolean village with painted walls and nedle-shaped Church tower. As pleasant and peaceful as an Austrian village used to be.

Hi Latiff,
The old gasthaus looks very nice with the painted wall. Also the church is typical for villages over there. Impressive sky that suggests changing weather.
I'd crop on the right at the red bench as the person waiting for bus is so close to the edge. And maybe some of the road at the bottom too.
