A nice red diagonal betweeen tall trees. We usually say: this is a painting not a photo but really the nature is a painting and we are inspired by it. Splendid picture of the serie. Amazing colors. You are doing a very good work.

Classical framing and compo presented in your signature way, John. Fabulous rendition of the way in which the autumn light plays with the seasonal colors of the foliage. I would have preferred a neutral white frame to the yellow but that's a minor quibble. Beautiful work yet again.

Quel agréable chemin pour une belle promenade. Les couleurs de l'automne sont toujours aussi belles, partout dans le monde. Demain je posterai une photo prise dans un sous-bois de châtaigniers, avec un beaucoup moins entretenu mais authentique.

Wow, great job in the woods again. Beautiful path. It draws me in from the right corner and then launches me down it. The textures of the trees are well rendered. And the colors are great. Greens and reds/browns and yellows. A great fall shot with that mixture there. And so warm looking, too. It's a very nice shot to remember the season that is about to end.

Even better than Cobblestones, John. Fall is nicely registered here. And it's hard to believe these are the original colors, maybe jut adding a little luminosity would improve the scene. Well done!

Wonderful autumn view, five years ago. The colours are outstanding and the composition is very good, with the leaves path going to the end of the forest.

Hello John,
Looks as heavenly path... all those red leaves on ground amid forest. There is no backlight-effect trough trees and fine handeled light and shadows.
