Saturday I was in Bruges, I was calm but with my camera in the hand
I saw these two musicians, according to them to coming from Russia.
Try on this way make a trip through Europe.

Street music sides in the city centre of Bruges or other cities.

You pass them regularly in the big city centers.
Sometimes you give them 20 cents, and when you are in a generous mood, they might get a euro.
Finally, it is the street artists who create the atmosphere on the street.
Yet it is not so obvious that they are there.
They must adhere to different rules, rules that are different in every city.
Permits and other rules must be observed

they are so well dressed to face the cold temperatures, russians should be more used to lower temperatures. haha.

Standing outside like this for hours, playing music with no gloves to protect their hands when the temperature is falling to maybe 0 °C would be a tough job. But they look serious about it and I hope they sounded well. It's a nice photo anyway, with pleasantly mild colours.

Hello John,

Thank you for your critique and don't apologise about your English; it is fine and perfectly easy to understand. I would be ashamed if I had to converse in French or Dutch. I'm afraid I would have to resort to the translator! ☺️

These street musicians are a real asset on the city streets; as you note, they create atmosphere, especially near Christmas time.
These guys have to be hardy, they look warmly dressed for the cold weather but fingers easily get cold. One of the musicians is wearing fingerless gloves but the other must not be able to use them.
Your photograph uses the shallow dof to good effect. The musicians fill the f/g and nicely sharp, whilst the b/g is useful and slightly oof so as not to distract from the focal figures.

Hallo John, these two itinerant artists come from Russia. They hope some euro coins in exchange of their music. One is playing guitar whereas the other one uses a trumpet. They hold the passersby attention and animate Bruges center. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Deze heerlijke foto van deze twee straatmuzikanten is in elk geval de volle twee punten waard. Hoewel ik de kwaliteit van hun muziek niet kan beoordelen op deze foto denk ik dat ze wel een eurotjes waard zijn, zeker omdat ze zo fraai poseerden.

Street musicians are one of your favourite subjects for my great pleasure. I always like admiring the portraits you make of them.
Your note is interesting too. Life is not all easy for them, but I am sure their music helps them a lot, as the proverb goes "Music soothes the mind".
Lovely portrait of these two Russians who came to brighten the streets of Bruges.
