Own NEW site 2020

I haven't posted any pictures on TE from this place yet.
Because here are several channels, but this one has always meant a lot to me.
On my third birthday (I don't know about it) it came to the great battle between German and Canadian soldiers.
Ultimately, the Germans had to withdraw to the Netherlands.
I received a diary (copy) from a cousin of mine, beginning September 10 to October 20, where everything is described perfectly

The order:
From the headquarters of Adolf Hitler, the order came to hold out at all costs along the Leopold Canal, which was to be reinforced, which was then carried out. Reinforcements were brought in, 20mm guns, anti-tank weapons and grenade launchers were deployed, sniper pits, trenches and machine gun nests were excavated. The Wehrmacht had prepared everything to receive the rapidly approaching Canadian liberators ...
