MIDDELBURG.

During my bike ride a rain shower came at me
I was between Middelburg and Maldegem, but along the Schipdonk canal, a lovely bike path and car free
Suddenly I saw the rainbow appear.
I took my camera and took some picture; I liked this one the most
With the rainbow in the trees, maybe a mile from me, but very clear

Hello John,
The rainbow hits the ground very nicely between two trees, and the line of trees in their turn are perfectly reflected in the water. It's an attractive view in every way, but I am most impressed by the superb sharpness. The thousands of branches and twigs seen in the trees look like they have been etched with a fine knife. It is very impressive.

Lepo drvece na obali u duga u pozadini, dobro pokazano sa lepim boajma, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.

Hallo John,
Een prachtige combinatie van je klassieke kanaalfoto met de lange bomenrij, de weerspiegelingen ervan in het water en ditmaal een regenboog zichtbaar tussen de boomstammen in.
Op een afstand van enkele honderd meters zien we nog een tweede rij bomen waarvan de takken zich mooi bevinden op de hoogte van de stammen van de meest dichtbije rij.
Heel wat diagonale en horizontale lijnen zorgen samen voor een schitterende foto.

We both have rainbow shots today! The rainbow is an excellent detail between the trees. All the trees have already dropped their leafs also on your region I see. Now the view is more open towards background fields.

Hallo John,
Een mooie foto van deze regenboog tegen de donkere wolken. Hij is ook net mooi te zien tussen de stammen van de kale bomen. Het licht en kleuren zijn heel aangenaam en het kalme water laat nog wat mooie spiegelingen zien.

Very evocative setting to show off this line of trees sitting on the canal bank and a rather moody looking greyish sky. But glimpse of the rainbow clearly uplifting this shot tenfold, turning this to a much more pleasing on the eye. Bit of still water reflections lends this a lovely finishing touch. Excellent

The array of trees so perfectly aligned and with a reflection as well would be a great capture already but the presence of the rainbow adds an extraordinary touch here.

We have been experiencing similar weather, with sudden rain showers on a sunny day, resulting in fleeting rainbows.
Your scene of with tall trees and their reflections is a beautiful composition, in its own right, but the rainbow and patch of bright sky, is the icing on the cake!
