Very similar to ones here, in Romania but we mostly have them only in village museums. Great shot, a nostalgia is over me looking at this image.

This seems as a moveable house, though I do not think it did move even in older times.

Hello Wolfgang,

You don't actually tell us much about the house but from the pictorial details it would seem to be very old in style and construction.
Those huge rocks, as a foundation, elevating the house from the ground, though very primitive, will be very useful against damp!
Your photograph is sharp and well composed.

Hallo Wolfgang,
Bosnia and Herzegovina is not that popular on TrekEarth although I also had the satisfaction to visit it. But this particular region is so small that an average visitor has little chance to get there I suppose. That is why your reportage from this area is so interesting.
Nice capture it feels frozen in time as if nothing has changed since decades here.
