Photographer's Note
Bachkovo Monastery is Bulgaria's second largest and a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are several historic chapels and shrines, such as this one, in the vicinity situated against varied and pleasant mountain natural scenery.
This was well maintained and on the way to the cave where icons were stored during dangerous times. The walk is now made as ceremony procession around Easter time each year.

I like the well lit up scene, the lovely textures and the way you have composed this lovely shot Dan. Good work indeed.

Hello, Dan,
It's a pity, you've shrunk the size so much, but the photo is clear and I like the light.
I'd like to elicit the inscription under the painted cross under the tiled upper curve.
Аязмо=Ayazmo- a place, usually a well or a source with healing power according to common beliefs and to make it holly,it's within a church/monastery area.
