Photographer's Note
Another look, mine this time, at the old Plovdiv, eternalized in photographs, in Tzanko Lavrenov's paintings.Who is Tzanko Lavrenov? One of the most famous Bulgarian artists. As to Plovdiv, you can find information in several sites, but this one is handsomely made. http://www.plovdivcity.net/plovdiv_culture.html.My TE-friend, Rossy Todorova-http://www.trekearth.com/members/rossy85/- has also paid her tribute to the theme of old Plovdiv.
This is my contribution:) Hopefully, you enjoy my oldie not less than Rossy's nice shots of the same place but from a different angle. It was shot with an ordinary camera and, by the way,I'm not sure, the image is sharp enough. Rossy's shot's better, but it's my look.

Hi Valeria, a very nice and picturesque narrow street.
You photo has a nice depth and perspective, the sky is overexposed.
Have a nice night.

Very good, and Plovdid seems to be really interesting place to visit. Lot of ancient stonework there.

I'd definitely switch it to sepia or... on the contrary - saturate it (clicking once or twice), then some sharpening would add a crispy look to the image (if the color version is to remain); compo is fine, no tilt this time, vertical format is strong and underlines what you really wanted to show.. TFS, greetings - Tomasz

Hello Valeria,
I particularly like this photogrph from your collection. The POV is very good, the eye is lead naturally down the narrw alleyway to the arch and beyond. I love the detail of the road and walls. There are so many lovely aspects, I think we can ignore the sky!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Valeria,
I can't tell you how much I enjoy photos that make you want to walk into them. This is a good one - I want to follow those two people through the archway and explore... I wish I would have known about Plovdiv when I visited Bulgaria 20 some odd years ago... Glad I get to see it through your eyes.
TFS
Michael
