Photographer's Note
Sapareva Banya is well-known for its unique geothermal mineral water. Here you will find the hottest mineral water in all Europe (103 degrees C) and the only active geyser in the Balkans.
Sapareva Banya is located in southwestern part of Bulgaria, on the northern slope of mountain Rila, in one hours drive from Sofia, the Capital of Bulgaria.

Good exposure and DOF. I think I would have gone for a vertical here and eliminate some of the stadium seating although I guess we would think the geyser is in the middle of nowhere then.
Cheers

Hi Philip!
I have come to the conclusion, that you are a master of wide angel shots. As I have the Sigma lens too I have made the experience that it is not so easy to arrange the wide optical field in an attractive way. But you definitely have a talent for this. This attractive photo is again a very good example for this.

Philip,
how strange to have a geyser surrounded with such architectural elements. It looks quite weird! I can't imagine how they build it with such how water steaming out of the soil. The composition and colors of the image are superb.

I'm surprised your pictures don't get more attention. You have some real gems in your gallery Philip. This one is beautiful because of the mood created and the soft tones and texture. The good balance of elements and light intensifies the visual appeal of the scene. Nice work.

Bonjour Philip,
Jean-Pierre
