Photographer's Note

Gradac is a little town of the Makarska riviera in southern Dalmatia, Croatia, it is located below the slopes of the Biokovo mountains and on a small peninsula which is surrounded by beautiful beaches. It is situated halfway between Split and Dubrovnik.
Gradac is the southernmost touristic locality of the Makarska riviera. Even though the area of Gradac was inhabited in the ancient times, it was first mentioned as an urban settlement in 1649. During World War II, 95 percent of homes were burned down in a fire, it was rebuilt as a fishing village. Today it is a famous tourist destination with all the necessary catering and tourist facilities.
