Photographer's Note

Makarska Riviera is a coastal strip of the Adriatic Sea in Croatia. It is about 60 km long and stretches from the town of Brela in the north to the town of Gradac in the south. The largest town in the region is Makarska, hence the name of the whole Riviera.

Makarska Riviera is one of the most beautiful parts of Dalmatia. High mountains descend almost to the sea, the warmest climate in Croatia, clean and warm water, numerous picturesque islands (there are 79 islands and about 500 islets), historic cities of Sibenik, Split and Trogir, the Biokovo mountains and the delta of the Neretva river.

In my photo: Gradac town at the southern end of the Makarska Riviera.
