Cesky Krumlov Castle Tower, a photo from Jihocesky, Bohemia

Photographer's Note

This is the castle tower at right that everyone heads up to, to get a bird's eye view of this quaint Bohemian town in the south western part of the Czech Republic. Along with Sighisoara in Romania, it is one of the nicest small towns in Europe, imho. The bus stop is on top of the hill outside the town and this lookout was enroute down the hill.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue pour cette composition. Il donne l'impression que l'on peut sauter d'un toit à l'autre vers cette belle tour dans son ciel d'un beau bleu polarisé.

The two towers dominating the view from the high hill you found a super-POV, Chris.
Bright morning with side shadows, beautifully added nice ambiance to the scenery.
Clear and distinct contrast and fine depth achieved, as always.

Hello Chris I agree with you that it is one of the nicest small towns in Europe. But unfortunately much too much people share this opinion. it is so crowded with tourists! Nice picture of the old town. Splendid colours. Interesting composition when the towers overlap. Marvelous colours.

A gem of the old town kept so tidy with just the right foreground interest dragging us upwards. This looks supremely lovely under that light and shades accentuate by speck of vivid red roofs and contrasts to blue sky. Placement of the imposing domes is great for the eye to hang on. oh ya, this one brings back fond memories. I recall being here a few years ago and I loved it. Very picturesque town.

Very polarized image and strong light on the houses on the other side of river leads to somewhat less sharpness there. Superb pov makes this impressive, though, and that little line of cloud is terrific. Nice one!

a beautiful view of the city with these many red roofs and some precious monuments mixed. the light was perfect. I would have moved a little more to see these two towers separated.
