Photographer's Note

Today I am posting a classic picture from Prague. It is difficult to do anything innovative with this scene, yet I love that view and if you ever come to Prague do not forget to climb the Town Hall tower (there is a nice elevator inside as well :-)) to get the the red roofs into your pictures.

The picture is a stitch of two horizontal images.

This is a great vantage point to take a shot across the city. The red roofs look splendid in the sunlight. I like the small figures that can be seen in the market square, they provide a good measure to show the height that you were shooting from.

Sharpness, exposure, colors, dof, chosen high pov, contrasts, vertical format, black & white borders and composition are all excellent features here!
The tower is high... I notice that by the seize of people down there... like ants!

Bonjour Romana,

Tu as pu prendre une très belle image depuis la tour de l'horloge.
La lumière met bien en évidence les couleurs des toits et des façades, ce qui est très beau.
Malheureusement, lors de mon passage à Prague l'année passée, il a fait gris toute la semaine :-| ce qui ne m'a pas empêché d'apprécier la ville.
