Great place, great time.. From my point of view - unique shape of small church - with the combination of all those icebergs in the background seems so egzotic..
Simple compostition of the calm landscape which in fact is full of eye-catching surprises!

Sune: I am impressed by this photo because it looks so surreal to me with the icebergs going by. It's great the way you lined yourself up in the very center of the church and the composition with the church to the right side.

The title is already stunning. You say "summer" and we see large chuncks of ice floating in the water behind the church. You probably could have taken this picture during the daytime as well as during the night.
If I am not mistaken the children in Illulissat go back to school in August dressed in traditional costumes, what a sight that must be.
