Photographer's Note
In the middle of Jule at the Old Great Square in Turku we could see performance about the Middle Age. Scenes with life tenants from medieval Turku were around us. It was exactly was A.D 1397. People were debating: who actually was the lawful ruler of the country? The peasants were restless and angry because had a heavy taxation. In this time Turku was ruled by Germans. They wanted to set off to the see but looked for seamens.
I understood just a little, rather I guessed: what was the whole play about. Everything was in Finnish. I saw somebody stealing the sacrificial money from the Cathedral and fireing town. Then all tenants: (women and children too) helped to extinguish fire. An important person published that the sacrificial money of the Cathedral was found. The performance was finished by the Bishop who together tenants thanked God for saving their town. Then all people danced all night.
It’s the main story but at the same time was a small story with life tenants. Mothers were giving birth, peasants were drinking beer and talking the strange stories, and streetwalkers.... ;) Musician were singing and playing. Salesmans were selling a lot of handcrafts stylized on medieval.

Humourous moment well caught. Lighting and colour very well handled.
Use of English note: "Streetwalkers" in colloquial English are "prostitutes". In fact the term only has this meaning.
